Chief Munyikwa, Vamdet donate clothes to the needy

GUTU–Chief Munyikwa born Kirion Rashamira and Vanobva KwaMunyikwa Development Trust (VAMDET) have donated 5x50kg bales of clothes to three headmen for distribution to the less privileged in their areas of jurisdiction.
Chief Munyikwa confirmed the development to The Mirror.


He said the clothes were handed over to headmen, Kubiku, Mushangwe and Muchekayaora.
“I’m grateful to the community for supporting my vision to develop and assist the Munyikwa community,” said Chief Munyikwa.
VAMDET director Watson Chatiza said they donated 5x 50kg bales of clothes.


“We believe Chief Munyikwa is the best contact to know the right beneficiaries. We shall continue to support the community. We acquired 5x50kgs bales of clothes to assist the Munyikwa community,” said Chatiza.
Chief Munyikwa recently launched a disaster fund for Soro Primary School in his area after seven classrooms had their rooftops destroyed by a hailstorm.
