Chipinge gospel diva to launch album on Sunday

CHIPINGE-Upcoming gospel diva Cloris Machuwaire is set to launch her second eight track album entitled ‘Tumirai Mago’ in Chipinge on Sunday.
The album was produced by Olin Anderson at Kunashe studios and the launch will be held at Goldfields Mall from 12-6 pm. The tickets are pegged at USD $1 for kids, adults USD $2 while the VIP ticket is going for USD $5.
Machuwaire expressed optimism in an interview with Chipinge Times that her new offering will surpass her previous work.
“I am grateful for the support I’m receiving from my fans. My previous album did well and I’m sure the new album will even do better. I’m urging all my fans to attend the album launch and they will not be disappointed,” said the talented artist.
The album features a song called ‘Chivi’ which she collaborated with Mutare-based singer Definite Mubaiwa.
The other songs include ‘Ruregerero’, ‘Ngaudzike Mweya’, ‘Gore zvarapera’, ‘Kusimudzwa neDenga’, ‘Nhoroondo yangu’, ‘Purutanyi’ (Ndau version and the title track ‘Tumirai Mago’ which she says is drawn from Exodus 23vs 28.
Celebrated Mutare singer Dorcas Moyo, Mathias Mhere, Caroline Chidzikwe and Shantel Sithole are some of the artists expected to grace the event.
Machuwaire recorded her first album last year in August and has three single tracks which include a collaboration with Mathias Mhere.https://chipingetimes.co.zw
