MUTARE – Mutare Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) Ward 18 councilor and former deputy mayor Kudakwashe Chisango has died. He was 49.
Chisango died yesterday morning at Eland Hospital in Mutare. Friend and family spokesperson Trymore Chikwanda said Chisango was asthmatic.
Mutare City Council Public Relations Officer Spren Mutiwi confirmed Chisango’s death to Chipinge Times. He said burial arrangements will be announced in due course.
Mourners are gathered at house number 7826 Area 16 in Dangamvura.
“We have learnt with shock the untimely passing on of Ward 18 councillor Chisango. Funeral arrangements will be availed once the family members have finalized on the programme,” said Mutiwi.
“Chisango died yesterday morning at Eland Hospital. It’s indeed a loss to us as a family. He was a humble and hardworking person who was dedicated to serving his people and family,” said Chikwanda.
