Police appeal to families with missing male relatives

MASVINGO-Police in Masvingo is appealing to families with a missing male relative in his late twenties or early thirties to come and identify a body.
Officer in Charge (OIC) Masvingo Traffic Inspector Cephas Mudavanhu confirmed the matter in a press statement dated August 2, 2023. 
He said the beaded and light-skinned man was killed in a hit-and-run accident on July 23, 2023, in Mucheke.
The man wore a greyish t-shirt, navy fleece jacket, blue jean trousers and a bracelet written Mudavanhu. 
He is medium built and about 1. 7 metres tall. He was carrying a blue Nike travelling bag with a set of slippers.
“Anyone with information which can help to identify the unknown victim should contact the Officer in Charge Masvingo Traffic Inspector Cephas Mudavanhu at (039) 2262979 or 0772853761 or contact the investigating Officer Sergeant Mbonisi Nyathi at 0773049162,” reads part of the statement.
