Seven provinces confirm participation in interprovincial volleyball tourney

MASVINGO – Seven provinces have so far confirmed their participation in this weekend’s interprovincial volleyball tournament in Mashava at Great Zimbabwe University courts courtesy of Zimbabwe Volleyball Association (ZVA).
The Masvingo Volleyball Secretary General, Kenneth Kondo confirmed the development to Mirror Sport.

“Masvingo Province is hosting the interprovincial volleyball tournament in Mashava after a seven-year hiatus. Preparations are going well and we are expecting fans from all Provinces of Zimbabwe.
“I’m glad that of the invited Provinces seven had confirmed participation with Matebeleland North, Manicaland and Bulawayo yet to confirm.
“These competitions are being held by ZVA so as a host province we populated our players regardless of the age. Preparations are well on course , venues are ready and equipment. We have secured kits for our provincial teams from New Horizon Pharmacy,” said Kondo.
The Provinces that have confirmed are Harare, Mashonland Central, Mashonland East, Mashonaland West, Masvingo, Matebeleland South and Midlands.
Kondo said that there shall be US$100 registration fee for each team.
