Woman appeals for US$1 500 to study Law in India

ZVISHAVANE- A young Zvishavane woman who scored 23 points at A Level is on the verge of missing out on a Presidential scholarship to study Law in India because her family is failing to raise US$1 500 tuition fees.
Patience Maturure’s (23) scholarship offer lapses at the end of July 2023. She will miss the chance if she fails to raise the money.
She told The Mirror that her family struggles to raise the money and is appealing to well-wishers for assistance.
“I am appealing for assistance from well-wishers so I can pay tuition fees for the Presidential scholarship I received to study Law in India.
“I have been knocking on businesspeoples’ doors to no avail. I want to study Law. I am passionate about that field. I wish to help others through legal representation. It is about helping each other in life,” she said.
She was also admitted into a local university but failed to raise tuition fees.
