CHIPINGE – ZIFA Eastern Region Division One League will this weekend hold an induction course for club administrators and team managers at the Flamboyant Hotel in Masvingo.
The participants are expected to pay USD $50 for the training or equivalent.
Division one league vice-chairman Wisdom Simba confirmed the programme to Chipinge Times.
“We have an induction on Saturday and Sunday. We are going to take participants through general administration, corporate governance and rules and regulations that govern our league,” said Simba.

He said the programme became necessary because the league has been inactive for the past two years and clubs have brought in new administrators and managers who might not be well versed with how the league is run.
“We have some new administrators and managers who need training and orientation. We also realised that there has been a big gap between the executive and the administrators hence the training,” he said.

On another note Simba said the clubs have displayed high levels of competition this season.
“So far so good. Our teams have done well. We appreciate the level of competition exhibited by all clubs. I thought the clubs would struggle after two years of inactive but they have worked very hard and they are displaying good football,” said the veteran administrator.https://chipingetimes.co.zw
